Tell me about the role?
.id is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Economy team in Collingwood, Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to own the technology strategy, influence ways of working, and make a significant impact in a small, self-driven team. You'll work with a variety of tools and technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, React, Typescript, Azure, SQL, and CMS, to connect geospatial data into web applications that empower over 1.2 million users.

Your Skills & Experience
Required:
A self-driven and motivated individual with a flair for working independently within a custom stack
Expert-level SQL skills
Experience running database technologies in production
Experience in ETL/ELT development
Strong problem-solving ability and understanding of SRE Principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills
Highly Desirable:
Experience with writing APIs (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, node.js, etc.)
Experience with React and Server-side pre-render tools (NextJS, Gatsby, etc)
Solid understanding of SEO best practices
Prior working experience in a similar field (economics, forecasting, demographics, etc.)
To a lesser degree, experience with geospatial (QGIS, etc.)
Additionally, you will have:
A strong desire to take end-to-end ownership of the current tech stack
Willingness to continually improve and drive technical capabilities into the future
Experience in documenting technology and changes you work on
What We Need (from a technical lens)
You'll work with time series geospatial-related data, hosting data in various tables and databases, querying and serving it to our custom headless CMS and React frontend. This is primarily hosted on Microsoft technologies, including MS SQL, MySQL, Azure, C#, and .NET.

Identify opportunities for automation to increase productivity and data quality
Champion best practice in development
Mentor and share knowledge with other developers on the team
