Senior Front End Developer Role
Rome2Rio’s Engagement Team is looking to add a Senior Front End Developer to their cross-collaborative team.
You’ll be tasked with working closely with users on the main flow of the Rome2Rio map project. You’ll have the chance to work across a newly rebuilt and modernised React and Typescript front end and to be able to flex your skills across CI/CD by maintaining, continuing testing coverage, writing fantastic code, and constantly iterating the product.
Most importantly, you are excited about working closely with end-users, have an eye for appealing UI/UX principles, and understand the importance of iterating on product design, experimentation, and continual improvement of the front-end stack.
You’ll have the opportunity to impact millions of users a day while working on a product that will show the fruits of your labour in real-time. You’ll also get to work on modern technology in a highly agile environment.

The details
The Team
Rome2Rio works in five cross-functional engineering teams, with three of these teams focused directly on working end-to-end across the product. You will be joining the Engagement Team where you will be working closely with users on the main flow of the Rome2Rio Map Project within their Explore product.
Each team is an autonomous and agile unit consisting of a Product Manager, Data Scientist, Designers, and Engineers.
