Site Reliability Engineer Role
Rome2Rio's Cloud Transition Squad is on the hunt for a standout Site Reliability Engineer to bolster their dynamic team.
You'll be at the helm of our ambitious cloud migration project, steering the transition from a monolithic AWS structure right into the GCP cloud domain. This role will see you deep-diving into Docker, Kubernetes, and the whole GCP suite, while also being an advocate for best-in-class infrastructure practices.
Most crucially, you're passionate about scaling and security in the high-traffic web domain, possess a knack for coding in any language, and grasp the essence of "getting stuff done" in the ever-evolving world of cloud tech.

The details
The Team
Rome2Rio works in five cross-functional engineering teams, with three of these teams focused directly on working end-to-end across the product. You will be joining the Cloud Transition Squad where you will be working closely with the Lead SRE as well as the Omio SRE team based in Germany.
