We believe that by promoting evidence-based decision-making, we are contributing to a fairer and more sustainable society.

.id (Informed Decisions)

.id has been a trusted source for micro-geography-based population and dwelling forecasts for over two decades. These forecasts, produced at the SA1 level, enable local governments and major organisations to understand when and where to provide services, invest in infrastructure and advocate for the community.

Major organisations rely on .id's forecasts to make critical decisions, such as setting electoral boundaries, locating ambulance stations, planning new schools, choosing supermarket locations, and managing utility services.

What sets .id apart is its meticulous research process, which combines local and national factors to predict population changes.

Their information tools are designed to solve the problem of “too much data, not enough knowledge”. They convert demographic, economic and geographic data into stories of place.
