What Delegate Connect is all about
Born out of hard work and bootstrapped right before the Pandemic in January 2020, the company has seen significant growth - going from a team of 3 to a team of nearly 50 in just 18 months! They have recently attracted significant seed funding led by AirTree Ventures, which wrote Delegate Connect the biggest seed check in the fund’s history so far. Other participants included Skip Capital, TEN13, and Australian startup founders like LinkTree’s Alex Zaccaria and Go1’s Andrew Barnes.
Built to host large national or international scale events, the Delegate Connect platform can built a completely customisable end-to-end experience - a client's audience can't help but be impressed. They've thought of everything - need registration? Done. In-venue and online digital signage? No problem. Networking capabilities and a nifty algorithm for match-making? You bet. A mobile app for audience members on-site? This isn't their first rodeo. Essentially, the platform provides the only toolkit their client will need to put on a seamless and awe-inspiring event.
Product Designer
With ambitious plans and early success, the Design team is growing and aregoing through a significant design overhaul with a focus on moving toward a human-centred, as well as data and evidence-based design. We are looking for a Product Designer with a strong lean toward UX to join the team on a circa 6-month contract.
Working with the Product Owner and Product Manager, you’ll help with redesigning the experience of delegates and users, as well as help to improve the overall design language on the system. You’ll also help to support the Lead and Senior Designers to build best-in-class products and effectively improve every area of the customer and delegate experience and journey, like working with the UX flow to make the flow more sticky. The Product Designer will mainly be working across web and native mobile apps.

The Team
The team at Delegate Connect is on a hyper-growth journey - expanding significantly over the past year and a half and they don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
With ambitious plans and early success, the product team is growing. This role will be a key hire within the Product team and will be reporting to the Senior PM and working across all areas of the product.
