What BetMakers is all about
BetMakers is a tech company that operates within the betting and wagering industry worldwide. Half a decade ago, the team at BetMakers recognised an opportunity in the betting and wagering industry to ease a critical pain point for bookmakers across the globe. BetMakers offers a full suite end-to-end service (full life cycle of a race from acceptance to closure on a platform) that optimises bookmakers’ ability to take data feeds in from bets at a global level and store and normalise them before sending them out.
At the moment, BetMakers has two notable parts of their business. The first is an end-to-end white-label offering that is targeted at smaller bookmakers to streamline and enhance their platforms. They are starting to service larger tier 1 clients as well with their white label product. The second part of their business is the recent acquisition of the US conglomerate Sportec, which is one of the big three companies in the US that consists of 15,000 betting terminals across the US. BetMakers is on an exciting journey at the moment of integrating with Sportec, as well as modernising older betting technologies like designing and building new state-of-the-art terminals.
Product Designer
BetMakers is looking for a Senior UX/ UI Designer to join their growing Design Team. The Senior UX/UI Designer will be working across a wide variety of dense and challenging back-end and customer-facing projects and products. They will also play an integral role in working exclusively with a top-tier betting brand across their racing and sporting initiatives.
The Senior UX/UI Designer role will be involved across the entire design process but will have a heavy focus in UX and stakeholder engagement. Betmakers’ design function is growing at the moment and they have a lean UX function, therefore, they are keen to get a Product Designer involved that enjoys playing a part in building out processes and having a real say in shaping how a company approaches UX.
